Ce jour n\u2019\u00e9tant pas f\u00e9ri\u00e9, la f\u00eate \u00e0 a \u00e9t\u00e9 report\u00e9e au premier dimanche suivant. Ainsi, le 13 novembre 2016, la Divine Liturgie a \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e \u00e0 la Cath\u00e9drale, pr\u00e9sid\u00e9e par Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Avgoustinos d\u2019Allemagne, invit\u00e9 d\u2019honneur par de Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Ath\u00e9nagoras de Belgique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Au cours de la Divine Liturgie ont pris part: Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite du lieu Ath\u00e9nagoras de Belgique, Leurs Eminences l\u2019Archev\u00eaque Simon (Patriarcat de Moscou), le M\u00e9tropolite Athanase d\u2019Acha\u00efe (Directeur du bureau de l\u2019Eglise de Gr\u00e8ce aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne), l\u2019Archev\u00eaque Job de Telmessos (Patriarcat Oecum\u00e9nique) et Leurs Excellences l\u2019Ev\u00eaque Dosith\u00e9os (Patriarcat de G\u00e9orgie), l\u2019Ev\u00eaque Bartholom\u00e9e d\u2019Arianzou (M\u00e9tropole d\u2019Allemagne \u2013 Patriarcat Oecum\u00e9nique) et l\u2019Ev\u00eaque Porphyrios de Neapoleos (Directeur du bureau de l\u2019Eglise de Chypre aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Dans son hom\u00e9lie, le M\u00e9tropolite d\u2019Allemagne s\u2019est largement r\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 au t\u00e9moignage de l\u2019Orthodoxie dans une Europe d\u00e9fis modernes, \u00e0 l\u2019Orthodoxie qui peut donner des solutions \u00e0 l\u2019impasse de l\u2019homme contemporain, le lib\u00e9rant des nombreux et insupportables probl\u00e8mes qui le tourmentent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">A la Divine Liturgie \u00e9taient \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sents Son Excellence l\u2019Ambassadeur Mr. Andreas Papastavrou, Repr\u00e9sentant permanent de la Gr\u00e8ce aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne, le Repr\u00e9sentant permanent auxiliaire Mr. Argyrios Makris, Mr. Vassilios Katakalidis, Premier Conseiller de l\u2019Ambassade de Gr\u00e8ce en Belgique, la Directrice du bureau du Consulat de Gr\u00e8ce \u00e0 Bruxelles Mme Eleni Petroula, des repr\u00e9sentants des Instances Militaires de Gr\u00e8ce en Belgique avec \u00e0 leur t\u00eate le lieutenant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Nicolaos Zachariadis, l\u2019higoum\u00e8ne du Monast\u00e8re de la Nativit\u00e9 de la Vierge Marie \u00e0 Asten (Pays-Bas) avec sa suite, plusieurs pr\u00e9sidents d\u2019associations culturelles et des traditions, ainsi que de nombreux fid\u00e8les.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Vers la fin de la Divine Liturgie, Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Ath\u00e9nagoras de Belgique a rendu gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Dieu d\u2019avoir accord\u00e9 une fois encore l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de se r\u00e9unir autour de l\u2019Eucharistie en l\u2019honneur et m\u00e9moire des Saints patrons de la ville de Bruxelles, les Saint Archanges Michel et Gabriel. Par la suite il remercia l\u2019invit\u00e9 d\u2019honneur, le respect\u00e9 et bon pasteur de la M\u00e9tropole voisine, le M\u00e9tropolite d\u2019Allemagne pour sa pr\u00e9sence, les autres Saints Hi\u00e9rarques, les repr\u00e9sentants des instances diplomatiques et militaires, les pr\u00eatres et les marguilliers de la Cath\u00e9drale, qui contribu\u00e8rent \u00e0 la parfaite organisation de la f\u00eate, ainsi que les fid\u00e8les qui remplirent l\u2019Eglise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Prenant la parole, Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Avgoustinos d\u2019Allemagne remercia Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite de Belgique pour son invitation fraternelle, et le f\u00e9licita pour sa diaconie dans la r\u00e9gion du B\u00e9n\u00e9lux. Se r\u00e9f\u00e9rant \u00e0 son \u00e9lection dans le Saint Esprit, il y a trois ans, \u00e0 laquelle il participa \u00e9galement en temps qu\u2019Hi\u00e9rarque Synodal, il caract\u00e9risa le M\u00e9tropolite Ath\u00e9nagoras comme \u00e9tant la fiert\u00e9 de l\u2019Eglise M\u00e8re de Constantinople. Enfin, avec la sagesse et la riche exp\u00e9rience qui le caract\u00e9risent, il salua la Diaspora grecque de Belgique, soulignant le r\u00f4le important qu\u2019elle doit jouer en Europe, s\u2019int\u00e9grant dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 moderne, mais sans perdre ses racines et son identit\u00e9.
