Cette ann\u00e9e ce fut l\u2019Eglise Orthodoxe qui \u00e9tait responsable d\u2019organiser la Veill\u00e9e. Ainsi les V\u00eapres orthodoxes y furent c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9s, pr\u00e9sid\u00e9s par Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Ath\u00e9nagoras de Belgique, avec comme conc\u00e9l\u00e9brants les pr\u00eatres Angelos Kamalidis (Patriarcat Oecum\u00e9nique), George Valcu, Gheorghe Macovei, Gabriel Bogdan (Patriarcat de Roumanie), et Kliment Samovarov (Patriarcat de Moscou), et les diacres Barnabas Genbrugge (Patriarcat Oecum\u00e9nique) et Oleg Aheyenka (Patriarcat de Moscou). Y assistaient: Leurs Excellences les Ev\u00eaques Johan Bonny (Ev\u00eaque d\u2019Anvers) et Paul Van den Berge (Ev\u00eaque \u00e9m\u00e9rite d\u2019Anvers), ainsi que des pasteurs protestants, des pr\u00eatres et diacres catholiques et anglicans.<br \/>\nLes chants \u00e9taient ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s par une chorale byzantine mixte (chantant en grec, roumain et n\u00e9erlandais) et une chorale russe (chantant en slavon).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Ath\u00e9nagoras a expliqu\u00e9 comment l\u2019unit\u00e9 des chr\u00e9tiens visible et tellement d\u00e9sir\u00e9e et que les orthodoxes prient toujours pour que Dieu la rende possible. Pourtant aujourd\u2019hui les murs de la s\u00e9paration des Eglises ne rendent pas jusqu\u2019au ciel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Son Excellence l\u2019Ev\u00eaque Johan Bonny a tenu une belle hom\u00e9lie sur le besoin de l\u2019unit\u00e9 des chr\u00e9tiens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Le P\u00e8re Angelos Kamalidis et le Diacre Barnabas Genbrugge, ainsi que Protopsaltis Antonios Tarlizos et Mme.
