La rencontre s\u2019est tenue dans un esprit fraternel et joyeux au si\u00e8ge de la Sainte M\u00e9tropole de Belgique. A la r\u00e9union ont particip\u00e9 \u00e9galement le R\u00e9v\u00e9rend Dr. John Gibault (co-secr\u00e9taire anglican du dialogue) et l\u2019Archidiacre Philadelphos Kafalis (M\u00e9tropole de Belgique).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Le but de la rencontre fut la pr\u00e9paration des pourparlers informels entre la Communion Anglicane et le Patriarcat \u0152cum\u00e9nique \u00e0 Londres (27 juin 2017), ainsi que la premi\u00e8re pr\u00e9paration de la prochaine\u00a0<strong>Commission Internationale du Dialogue Th\u00e9ologique entre l\u2019Eglise Anglicane et l\u2019Eglise Orthodoxe<\/strong>\u00a0qui aura lieu sur l\u2019\u00eele de\u00a0<strong>Malte<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>14-21 octobre 2017<\/strong>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Le dialogue entre l\u2019Eglise Orthodoxe et l\u2019Eglise Anglicane d\u00e9buta en 1973. La premi\u00e8re rencontre eut lieu \u00e0 Oxford.\u00a0<strong>Son Eminence le M\u00e9tropolite Ath\u00e9nagoras<\/strong>\u00a0est le\u00a0<strong>5\u00e8me co-pr\u00e9sident orthodoxe<\/strong>de ce dialogue, apr\u00e8s les regrett\u00e9s Archev\u00eaques de Thyateira Ath\u00e9nagoras Kokkinakis et Methodios Fouyas et les M\u00e9tropolites Jean de Pergame et Kallistos de Diokleia. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 par le Saint Synode du Patriarcat \u0152cum\u00e9nique lors de sa s\u00e9ance au mois de novembre 2016.
