De dienst werd opgericht als een non-profit organisatie (ondernemingsnummer BCE: BE0721.896.36) op initiatief van Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb om te reageren op de vele uitdagingen maar ook op de groeiende behoeften die zich voordoen in de Aartsbisdom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naar de orthodox-christelijke traditie wil \u201cFiloxenia\u201d mensen in nood een hand toereiken. Om dit doen zendt ze een open uitnodiging uit aan allen die ge\u00efnteresseerd zijn om bij te dragen aan dit doel.
