De kerk was afgeladen vol met orthodoxe christenen die samenstroomden om het heilig vuur te ontvangen en deel te nemen aan de meest luisterrijke viering van het christendom.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Tijdens de Goddelijke Liturgie, die werd voorgegaan door Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb, omringd door geestelijken van de metropolitaanse kerk, en zijn diakens, werd de encycliek van de Oecumenische Patriarch voorgelezen, evenals de boodschap van Zijne Eminentie voor het hoogfeest van de Opstanding van Christus.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Op het einde bedankte Zijne Eminentie de Metropoliet van Belgi\u00eb iedereen die tot het einde van de Goddelijke Liturgie aanwezig was, en riep het &#8220;Christus is opgestaan&#8221; in verschillende talen.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Met gepaste luister werd ook dit jaar op zondag 1 mei 2016 in de Kathedraal te Brussel het Heilig Pascha gevierd.
