Josef Moes, de Zeer Vrome Aartsdiaken Athan\u00e1sios Toparl\u00e1kis, Diaken Barnabas Genbrugge uit het Heilig Aartsbisdom van Belgi\u00eb en Exarchaat van Nederland en Luxemburg, de Z.E.H. v. Basilios Khamis (Patriarchaat van Antiochi\u00eb), de Z.E.H. Protopresbyter Grigory Krasnotsvetov, Protopresbyter Anton Du Pau, Priester Hildo Bos, de Z.V. Diaken Joan Lena (Patriarchaat van Moskou), de Z.E.H. Aartspriester Slavisa Sanji\u0107, en de Z.V. diaken Donald Podkraja\u0107 (Patriarchaat van Servi\u00eb) met hen samen. De Z.E.H. Priester Io\u00e1nnis Psom\u00e1s, hulppriester van de kerk, en de Z.V. diakens Fil\u00e1delfos Kafal\u00eds en Rafa\u00ebl Kommers waren in gebed verenigd aanwezig.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">De Goddelijke Liturgie werd opgeluisterd door de stemmen en prachtige uitvoering van de gezangen door het Byzantijnse koor van de Kathedraal van Rotterdam, een Arabischtalig, een Slavischtalig, een Roemeens en Nederlandstalig koor.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">De homilie werd in het Nederlands uitgesproken door de Z.E.H. Priester Hildo Bos, die een vergelijking trok tussen de marathon, die diezelfde dag in de stad Rotterdam werd gelopen, en de strijd van de christenen tijdens de Grote Vasten. Tijdens zijn toespraak wees hij er voorts op dat de Kerk de geestelijkheid is die met de leken eucharistisch verenigd is rond de Bisschop, om zodoende het Lichaam van onze Heer Jezus Christus te vormen in de wereld. Hij benadrukte ook het gegeven dat christenen van verschillende afkomst en tradities, ongeacht hun aardse zorgen, samen vierden, zo deel namen aan de eeuwige goederen, en gehoor gaven aan de uitspraken van de Heilige Johannes van de Ladder (Kl\u00edmakos).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Op het einde van de Goddelijke Liturgie bedankte Zijne Eminentie de voornaamste Metropoliet Athenagoras de eerbiedwaardige hi\u00ebrarchen, evenals de overige geestelijken, voor hun deelname aan deze Bisschoppelijke Co-Liturgie. Hij benadrukte het belang van de eenheid van de orthodoxen, vooral in deze moeilijke dagen die de wereld doormaakt, en kenschetste die eenheid als een voorbode van de eenheid op het toekomstig samen te roepen Heilige en Groot Concilie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Tot slot werd een receptie gehouden in een zaal in
