Hij benadrukte onder andere het belang van de eenheid van de Orthodoxe Christenen, en haalde de Synaxis aan van de Hoofden van de Orthodoxe Patriarchaten en Autocefale Orthodoxe Kerken, die van 21\/1\/2016 tot 28\/1\/2016 plaats heeft te Chamb\u00e9sy bij Gen\u00e8ve.
