Deze twee termen sluiten aan bij het seizoen van de lente: de dagen worden langer, het licht neemt toe, een licht dat ons opwarmt en vreugde geeft. De natuur barst open, alles wordt \u00e9\u00e9n en al groen en bloem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vader Serge Boulgakov schrijft dat &#8220;elke lente van de natuur een profetie, een voorafbeelding is van de lente van het Koninkrijk&#8221;. Het Paasfeest is een voorsmaak van de dag van het Avondloos Licht waar het eeuwig lente zal zijn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vandaag herdenken we de apostel Thomas. Na de overstromende vreugde van de Paasnacht, gaan we vandaag getuigen van de Verrijzenis aan de wereld, aan diegenen die twijfelen. Met de apostel Thomas bevestigen wij dat de Verrijzenis een tastbare en lichamelijke realiteit is. Bij het aandachtig luisteren van het Evangelie van vandaag, stellen wij vast dat elk woord een onuitputtelijke schat is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;De deuren waren gesloten uit schrik voor de Joden&#8221;, de apostelen waren allen weggelopen en hadden zich opgesloten uit schrik, met uitzondering van de vrouwen. Jezus Christus verschijnt midden van hen door gesloten deuren, zoals Hij de poorten van de hel geopend heeft en de verzegelde steen van het graf heeft weggerold. Zoals wij lezen in het synaxarion (bondige samenvatting van het liturgisch thema van de dag): &#8220;Indien de maagdelijke schoot of het verzegelde Graf U niet kunnen opsluiten, O mijn Redder, hoe zou dan het slot van een deur U kunnen weerhouden?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dit getuigt van de almacht van God. Het gebed van de Kerk verbindt de maagdelijke schoot met het verzegelde graf; zij verbindt de menswording met de verrijzenis: de twee polen van het christelijk mysterie enkel te beschouwen in geloof en liefde.
