De jaarlijkse plenaire vergadering van de Internationale Commissie voor de Anglicaans-Orthodoxe Theologische Dialoog (ICAOTD) die in oktober 2020 in Griekenland zou plaatsvinden, werd afgelast wegens de Covid-19 beperkingen. In plaats daarvan hield de commissie op maandag 19 oktober 2020 een videoconferentie.<\/p>\n

De covoorzitters van de Dialoog zijn Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb (Oecumenisch Patriarchaat) en Zeer Eerwaarde Dr. Richard Clarke, gepensioneerd Aartsbisschop van Armagh (Anglicaanse gemeenschap).<\/p>\n

Tijdens de bijeenkomst deelden de leden van de Commissie nieuws uit hun Kerk en verzoeken tot gebed. De Commissie vernam ook het nieuws dat hun gezamenlijk overeengekomen verklaring over ecologie, Stewards of Creation: A Hope-Filled Ecology, op 19 oktober 2020 werd gepubliceerd. De commissieleden kreeg ook een update over de vorderingen van de redactie van een verklaring over ethische kwesties rond het levenseinde.
\nDe Commissie kwam samen in gebed en blijft met hoop bidden voor de Kerk en de wereld die zich in moeilijke tijden bevinden. Nu was de grote groep gelovigen \u00e9\u00e9n van hart en van ziel. (Handelingen 4:32)<\/p>\n
