De koorbanken werden gevuld door het Griekstalige koor van de kerk, en het koor van de Roemeenstalige parochie.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">De homilie, over de Evangelielezing, werd verzorgd door Metropoliet Athenagoras, die sprak over de ijdelheid van het wereldse najagen van geldzucht, en het dilemma dat zich voor de hedendaagse mens stelt tussen God en geld.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Na het einde van de Goddelijke Liturgie werd een plechtige Doxologie gevierd, waarbij Zijne Eminentie opnieuw het woord nam, en de grote vreugde van het Exarchaat van Luxemburg benadrukte dat de Nationale Feestdag van het land samen met alle Orthodoxe instanties gevierd wordt.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Hij bedankte de vertegenwoordigers van de christelijke gezindten, de burgemeester van de stad, de militairen uit Griekenland, en alle lokale overheden voor hun aanwezigheid.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Vervolgens nam de nieuwe Ambassadeur van Griekenland in Luxemburg het woord, dhr. Louis-Alkivi\u00e1dis, die Zijne Eminentie bedankte voor de grote inzet en aanwezigheid van de Orthodoxe Kerk in Luxemburg.
