Op donderdag, 3 februari 2022, om 12 uur, zegende Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb en Exarch van Nederland en Luxemburg, op uitnodiging van de Griekse ambassadeur, de heer Dionysios Kalamvrezos, het Basiliusbrood in de Griekse Ambassade te Brussel. De Eerste Consul en Directeur van het Consulaat van Brussel, de heer Basil Zarbalis, en het Ambassadepersoneel waren eveneens aanwezig.<\/p>\n

Metropoliet Athenagoras uitte zijn vreugde over zijn aanwezigheid op de Griekse ambassade en onderstreepte de zeer goede samenwerking en de gemeenschappelijke geest van zowel zijn voorgangers als hijzelf met de Griekse diplomaten. Hij wenste de huidige missie en haar vertegenwoordigers alle succes toe bij het handhaven van vrede en humanitaire waarden in de huidige wereld van pandemie\u00ebn en precaire politieke omstandigheden.\u00a0 <\/span>Er werd in het bijzonder melding gemaakt van het succes van Zijne Excellentie de Ambassadeur bij zijn pogingen om de bilaterale betrekkingen tussen Griekenland en Belgi\u00eb te versterken.<\/p>\n
