Dit colloquium, onder de Hoge Bescherming van Zijne Majesteit Koning Albert II, bracht alle vertegenwoordigers van de erkende erediensten en andere levensbeschouwelijke overtuigingen, de voorzitster van de Senaat, mevrouw St\u00e9phanie D&#8217;Hose, de Minister van Justitie en Erediensten, de heer Vincent Van Quickenborne, verschillende persoonlijkheden uit de politieke wereld en leden van delegaties van de verschillende overtuigingen samen. De orthodoxe delegatie werd vertegenwoordigd door Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb, omringd door Hunne Excellenties Bisschop Dossitheos van het patriarchaat van Georgi\u00eb, hulpbisschop Joachim van Apollonia van het Aartsbisdom Belgi\u00eb en de Zeer Eerwaarde Archimandriet Philadelphos Kafalis, vicaris-generaal van het Aartsbisdom Belgi\u00eb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Omwille van het herstel van Hare Majesteit Koningin Paola, vertegenwoordigden Hunne Koninklijke Hoogheden Prins Laurent en Prinses Claire Hunne Majesteiten Koning Albert II en Koningin Paola.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>\u00a0De ambitie van Never Alone was een antwoord te geven op de vraag hoe de jongeren en senioren van ons land de quarantaine hebben ervaren en in hoeverre hun spirituele en\/of filosofische overtuigingen een bron van inspiratie kunnen zijn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Dit thema sloot aan bij de problematiek van het FIDIF, dat als platform van alle in ons land erkende erediensten en andere levensbeschouwelijke overtuigingen regelmatig maatschappelijke thema&#8217;s aansnijdt, zoals de maatschappelijke rol van religies (Religioptimist ), de status van gevangenen (Jail&amp;Justice) en die van delinquente jongeren (Youth&amp;Justice).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>\u00a0Na het welkomstwoord van de voorzitster van de Senaat, mevrouw St\u00e9phanie D&#8217;Hose, werd het woord gegeven aan twee sprekers, de heer Mark Eyskens en de heer Philippe Busquin, bekende persoonlijkheden die hun stempel hebben gedrukt op de Belgische politieke wereld en die de gelegenheid kregen te antwoorden op de vraag: &#8220;Hoe heb ik vanuit mijn filosofische\/spirituele overtuiging de quarantaine ervaren?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>\u00a0De bedoeling van het colloquium was de twee polen van de samenleving voor het voetlicht te brengen en ook de jeugd de mogelijkheid te geven zich te uiten. Er werd een video-opname van ongeveer twintig minuten vertoond waarin getuigenissen van jongeren met verschillende overtuigingen de fundamentele bijdrage onderstreepten van hun geloof om het tot dusver unieke moment van quarantaine het hoofd te bieden en hen ertoe aan te zetten diep in zichzelf te zoeken naar de manier om de uitdaging die de gezondheidssituatie hen oplegt, aan te gaan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Een senior lid van elk geloof werd vervolgens uitgenodigd om zijn getuigenis naar voren te brengen. Eenzaamheid en verrijking, m\u00e9moires schrijven, bewondering voor het werk dat op het terrein door het verplegend personeel wordt verricht, meditatie en zelfverdieping, onvoorwaardelijke steun aan het geloof, &#8230; waren de elementen die door de verschillende sprekers te berde werden gebracht.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>De vraag- en antwoordsessie werd gevolgd door een uitwisseling tussen het publiek en enkele van de sprekers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>Vincent Van Quickenborne, minister van Justitie en Religieuze Zaken, sloot het colloquium af door eraan te herinneren hoe heilzaam de samenwerking tussen vertegenwoordigers van religieuze en andere levensbeschouwelijke overtuigingen gedurende de hele periode van de pandemie is geweest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[FAGP id=37160]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Colloquium van het FIDIF in de Senaat &#8211; 15 maart 2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Op dinsdag 15 maart 2022 vond in de Senaat het Colloquium \u201cNever Alone\u201d plaats, georganiseerd door het Federaal Platform voor Interreligieuze Dialoog (FIDIF).
