Het nieuwe hoofd van de Permanente Griekse Vertegenwoordiging bij de NAVO, ambassadeur Ioannis – Miltiadis Nicolaidis, werd in de namiddag van 26 oktober 2023 ontvangen door Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb en Exarch van Nederland en Luxemburg, in het hoofdkwartier van het Orthodoxe Aartsbisdom in Brussel.<\/p>\n

\n

Het bezoek was van formele aard en vond plaats in het kader van de aanstelling van de ambassadeur, die met dit gebaar zijn respect betuigde tegenover het hoofd van de Orthodoxe Kerk en vertegenwoordiger van het Oecumenisch Patriarchaat in Belgi\u00eb.<\/p>\n

\n

Metropoliet Athenagoras bedankte de heer Nicolaides voor zijn bezoek en wenste hem succes en moed toe in zijn veeleisende nieuwe missie, vooral onder de moeilijke omstandigheden in de wereld van vandaag, waarin Griekenland en haar prestigieuze diplomatie een beslissende rol kunnen spelen in het bevorderen van ratio en vrede.<\/p>\n
