{"id":43615,"date":"2023-12-05T15:00:49","date_gmt":"2023-12-05T14:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/orthodoxia.be\/?p=43615"},"modified":"2023-12-12T19:02:47","modified_gmt":"2023-12-12T18:02:47","slug":"patroonsfeest-van-de-heilige-barbara-in-genk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orthodoxia.be\/nl\/2023\/12\/05\/patroonsfeest-van-de-heilige-barbara-in-genk\/","title":{"rendered":"Patroonsfeest van de Heilige Barbara in Genk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Op maandag 4 december 2023 ging Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb en Exarch van Nederland en Luxemburg voor in de Goddelijke Liturgie in de parochie van de Heilige Barbara te Genk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In zijn homilie verwees Zijne Eminentie naar het leven van de heilige Barbara en hoe haar leven een voorbeeld tot inspiratie kan zijn voor het leven in Christus in de hedendaagse realiteit waarin wij nu leven.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aan het einde van de Goddelijke Liturgie bedankte Zijne Eminentie de geestelijken die deelnamen aan het feest, evenals de rector van de parochie, aartspriester Emmanuel Kazilas, voor het pastorale werk dat hij al meer dan dertig jaar binnen de parochie verricht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vader Emmanuel nam vervolgens het woord om Zijne Eminentie te bedanken voor zijn eervolle aanwezigheid en deelname aan het feest.
