De nieuwe ambassadeur van Griekenland in Belgi\u00eb, Mevrouw Sophia Grammata, werd op de ochtend van 10 januari 2024 ontvangen door Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb en Exarch van Nederland en Luxemburg, in het hoofdkwartier van het Orthodoxe Aartsbisdom in Brussel.<\/p>\n

\n

Kort na haar aanstelling, wilde de ambassadrice haar respect betuigen aan Metropoliet Athenagoras en de zegen van de locale Kerk ontvangen, voor de goede afloop van haar ambtstermijn. Tevens kreeg ze de gelegenheid om zich te laten informeren over de orthodoxe aanwezigheid in Belgi\u00eb en sprak ze haar verlangen uit voor de voortzetting van de goede samenwerking tussen de Griekse ambassade en ons Aartsbisdom, voor het welzijn van de Griekse gemeenschap in Belgi\u00eb.<\/p>\n

Metropoliet Athenagoras bedankte mevrouw de ambassadrice voor haar formeel bezoek en wenste haar een gezegend ambt toe, in haar missie om de belangen van Griekenland te verdedigen, hier, in het hartje van Europa.
