Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb ging voor in chorostasis. Op het einde van de dienst feliciteerde Zijne Eminentie de feestvierenden en sprak hij de Grieken moed in bij de moeilijke toestand die het land de laatste tijd doormaakt.<\/p>\n<p>Op de hoofddag vierde de Metropoliet van Belgi\u00eb de Goddelijke Liturgie, omringd door geestelijken uit Brussel. In zijn toespraak haalde hij het leven van de Grootmartelares Marina aan, en zei hij dat ze een voorbeeld is voor alle christenen.
