{"id":55161,"date":"2026-09-25T13:31:20","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T11:31:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orthodoxia.be\/?p=55161"},"modified":"2026-09-25T15:42:28","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T13:42:28","slug":"internationale-commissie-voor-de-anglicaans-orthodoxe-theologische-dialoog-19-24-september-2026-alexandrie-egypte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orthodoxia.be\/nl\/2026\/09\/25\/internationale-commissie-voor-de-anglicaans-orthodoxe-theologische-dialoog-19-24-september-2026-alexandrie-egypte\/","title":{"rendered":"Internationale Commissie voor de Anglicaans-Orthodoxe Theologische Dialoog, 19\u201324 september 2026, Alexandri\u00eb, Egypte"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In de naam van de Drie-ene God, en met de zegen en onder de leiding van onze Kerken, kwam de&nbsp;<strong>Internationale Commissie voor de Anglicaans-Orthodoxe Theologische Dialoog (ICAOTD)<\/strong>&nbsp;van 19 tot 24 september 2026 bijeen in Alexandri\u00eb, op uitnodiging van het Patriarchaat van Alexandri\u00eb en Geheel Afrika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De Commissie betuigt haar diepe dankbaarheid voor het hartelijke onthaal en de genereuze gastvrijheid van Zijne Gelukzaligheid Theodoros II, Patriarch van Alexandri\u00eb en Geheel Afrika. Zijne Gelukzaligheid gaf een uiteenzetting over het leven en het werk van het Patriarchaat in Afrika. De Commissie werd eveneens hartelijk ontvangen door Zijne Excellentie de Hoogwaardige Samy Shehata, anglicaans aartsbisschop van de Episcopaalse\/Anglicaanse Provincie Alexandri\u00eb, in de Prokathedraal van de Heilige Marcus, waar hij de zending en het pastorale werk van het Bisdom Egypte toelichtte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zoals tijdens haar vorige bijeenkomsten werden de werkzaamheden van de Commissie gedragen door het dagelijkse gebed en de gezamenlijke eredienst. De Commissie nam deel aan de Goddelijke Liturgie in het historische klooster van de Heilige Savvas de Geheiligde, voorgegaan door Zijne &nbsp;Gelukzaligheid Patriarch Theodoros II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Alexandri\u00eb zette de Commissie haar werkzaamheden voort rond de tekst&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Getuigen van Christus in de hedendaagse wereld\u2019<\/strong>, waarin thema\u2019s als missie, getuigenis, christelijke bekering, vorming en navolging aan bod komen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voortbouwend op deze basis begon de Commissie na te denken over de wijze waarop onze beide tradities de&nbsp;<strong>christelijke vorming<\/strong>&nbsp;verstaan, en meer bepaald over de wijze waarop de Kerk de gelovigen vormt om als christenen te leven, te groeien in Christus, sacramenteel deel te nemen aan het leven van de Kerk, moreel onderscheidingsvermogen te ontwikkelen en toegerust te worden voor dienstwerk en missie. Als leidraad voor deze reflectie geldt de visie van de heilige Paulus in Efezi\u00ebrs 4, 12-13: \u2018om de heiligen toe te rusten voor het werk van de bediening, tot opbouw van het lichaam van Christus, totdat wij allen komen tot de eenheid van het geloof en van de kennis van de Zoon van God, tot de volwassenheid, tot de maat van de volle wasdom van Christus.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Twee bijdragen werden besproken:&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Dagelijks leven en geestelijke praktijken\u2019<\/strong>, vanuit orthodox perspectief, en&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Beginselen en praktijken van de anglicaanse spiritualiteit\u2019<\/strong>, gebaseerd op anglicaanse bronnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2023 was het&nbsp;<strong>vijftig jaar geleden dat de Anglicaans-Orthodoxe Theologische Commissie werd opgericht<\/strong>. Dit jubileum werd gevierd tijdens de plenaire vergadering in Boston in 2024, waar werd besloten deze verjaardag te markeren met een bijzondere publicatie over de geschiedenis en de verwezenlijkingen van de Commissie. Tijdens de bijeenkomst van dit jaar in Alexandri\u00eb rondde de Commissie, met het oog op publicatie, een overzicht af van haar ontwikkeling, evenals inleidingen bij elk van de zeven&nbsp;<strong>Gemeenschappelijke Verklaringen<\/strong>&nbsp;die de Commissie sinds 1973 heeft gepubliceerd, en ander belangrijk archiefmateriaal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De&nbsp;<strong>Anglicaanse Gemeenschap<\/strong>&nbsp;zal de volgende bijeenkomst van de Commissie organiseren in Lissabon, van&nbsp;<strong>17 tot 24 september 2027<\/strong>.
