{"id":824,"date":"2017-04-02T12:32:27","date_gmt":"2017-04-02T12:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.orthodoxia.be\/?p=824"},"modified":"2017-10-18T12:39:53","modified_gmt":"2017-10-18T12:39:53","slug":"het-uur-van-de-orthodoxie-te-dilbeek-vlaams-brabant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orthodoxia.be\/nl\/2017\/04\/02\/het-uur-van-de-orthodoxie-te-dilbeek-vlaams-brabant\/","title":{"rendered":"HET UUR VAN DE ORTHODOXIE TE DILBEEK (VLAAMS-BRABANT)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Zijne Eminentie Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb en Exarch van Nederland en Luxemburg, ging op de Zaterdag van de Akathist, op 1 april 2017, voor in de eerste Goddelijke Liturgie in de nieuw verworven kerk van de Parochie van de Heiligen Georgios en Alena te Dilbeek bij Brussel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Door de genade Gods werd nog een droom werkelijkheid doordat het Aartsbisdom van Belgi\u00eb een parochie wist op te richten aan de rand van de Europese Hoofdstad, die ook de Nederlandse taal zal gebruiken. In de stad Brussel bevinden zich oude, historische Griekse parochies, 5 in getal, en jaren geleden werd ook \u00e9\u00e9n Franstalige parochie opgericht met het oog op het lenigen van de noden van de niet-Griekstalige kudde. In dat verband werd \u00e9\u00e9n jaar geleden in de groene Vlaamse gordel rond Brussel, te Dilbeek, in de rand van het Vlaams gewest, deze parochie opgericht met het oog op het lenigen van de noden van de Grieken in deze streek \u00e9n van de Nederlandstalige gelovigen in het Brusselse.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">De kerk is toegewijd aan de Heilige Georgios (Joris) de Trofeedrager en aan de Heilige Alena, martelares uit de 7e eeuw (+640 na Chr.), die afkomstig is uit de omgeving van Dilbeek, en evenzeer in het Oosten als in het Westen als heilige van de onverdeelde Kerk wordt vereerd.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Tijdens zijn toespraak op het einde van de Goddelijke Liturgie, bedankte Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb God en de Beschermheiligen van de Parochie, omdat ze kort na haar oprichting, en de tijdelijke huisvesting in een andere kerk, een volledig eigen heiligdom en eigen onderdak vond. Ontroerd vertelde hij hoe de hele weg van de stichting en het verwerven van de nieuwe kerk een zegen van God was geweest en een geschenk van de Heiligen, iets wat getuigt van hun levende aanwezigheid in het leven van de Kerk. \u201c<em>Het uur van de Orthodoxie in Dilbeek is gekomen, hier waar, volgens het Vlaams gezegde Vlamingen thuis zijn, hebben ook de Orthodoxen uit de streek hun eigen thuis, hun eigen kerk.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Aan de Goddelijke Liturgie namen geestelijken van het Heilig Aartsbisdom deel, evenals vele leken die zich haastten om het nieuwe begin te helpen.
