{"id":894,"date":"2017-03-15T09:16:20","date_gmt":"2017-03-15T09:16:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.orthodoxia.be\/?p=894"},"modified":"2017-10-20T07:21:53","modified_gmt":"2017-10-20T07:21:53","slug":"patriarch-theofilos-iii-te-brussel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orthodoxia.be\/nl\/2017\/03\/15\/patriarch-theofilos-iii-te-brussel\/","title":{"rendered":"PATRIARCH THEOFILOS III TE BRUSSEL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Op woensdag 14 maart 2017 bevond Zijne Zaligheid Patriarch Theofilos III van Jeruzalem zich enkele uren te Brussel, samen met Gerontas Aartssecretaris Aartsbisschop Ar\u00edstarchos van Konstantine, en zijn Aartsdiaken Markos.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Het bezoek maakte deel uit van een evenement van het Brusselse Griekennetwerk &#8220;Arg\u00f3&#8221;, dat betrokken was bij de recente renovatie van het Heilig Kouvouklion (ediculum) van het Heilig Graf te Jeruzalem, en waarbij de initiatiefnemer van dit werk, Patriarch Theofilos van Jeruzalem, eregast was.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">In oktober 2016 vatte een ploeg wetenschappers van de Nationale Polytechnische Universiteit van Athene, onder leiding van de projectverantwoordelijke, Professor Antonia Myropo\u00falou van de Faculteit Chemische Ingenieurs, de onderhoudswerken aan het Heilig Graf aan, iets wat sinds begin 19e eeuw niet meer was gebeurd.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Luttele dagen voor de offici\u00eble overdracht van het gerenoveerde Kouvouklion aan de Patriarch van Jeruzalem, op woensdag 22 maart, werd, ter gelegenheid van het einde der werken, in Brussel de hele geschiedenis gepresenteerd van de onderhoudswerken aan dit belangrijk gebouw.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Bij de aankomst van Zijne Zaligheid op de Internationale Luchthaven te Zaventem, bood de plaatselijke Metropoliet Athenagoras van Belgi\u00eb en Exarch van Nederland en Luxemburg, vergezeld door geestelijken van het Aartsbisdom, hem een warm welkom, en nodigde hem vervolgens uit om de zetel van het Aartsbisdom te bezoeken, waarop hij niet kon ingaan wegens zijn overladen programma.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span lang=\"el\" xml:lang=\"el\">Na het evenement, dat op woensdagavond plaats had in een centraal gelegen hotel te Brussel, vertrok Zijne Zaligheid donderdagochtend terug naar het Heilig Land, opnieuw begeleid door geestelijken van het Heilig Aartsbisdom van Belgi\u00eb.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Op woensdag 14 maart 2017 bevond Zijne Zaligheid Patriarch Theofilos III van Jeruzalem zich enkele uren te Brussel, samen met Gerontas Aartssecretaris Aartsbisschop Ar\u00edstarchos van Konstantine, en zijn Aartsdiaken Markos.
